Imam Shafiq Ur Rahman
Imam Shafiq founded Al-Qmar Trust in May 2016 to serve the acute needs of the community. His vision to establish the first-custom and bespoke Madrasa alone side a community-centric organisation to delivery on education, health care, social exchange, inter-faith relationship and a focal point to gravitate social and environmental responsibilities incumbent on all Muslims to practise according to the Holy Quran and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
As an experienced serving Imam at The Liverpool Mosque and Islamic Institute since 2012, he graduated from the Jamiatul-Ilm Wal-Huda UK School in Blackburn inspired and natured by a number of renowned Scholars. Imam Shafiq is a Hafiz (at the age of 12) and an Alim versed in Islamic theological studies as well as Islamic Jurisprudence has delivered key-notes speeches and Sermons in several countries including the United State of America, Europe and Japan. He regularly attends Schools and Universities engaging with young people inspiring inquisitive thinking.
As a young philanthropist he aims to cater for not only the local but the needs of the global community and champions young minds as ambassadors’ of global leaders for peace, mutual respect and tolerance by instilling and delivering responsible policies against measured attainment for the benefit of all.

ATIQ rehman
ATIQ has brought experience across the education and youth sector in the greater Manchester town of Oldham and also Liverpool. Traditionally trained as an imam in the word famous Islamic institute of Blackburn, Atiq took his studies further and completed a masters degree in religion, culture and society at the university of central Lancashire.
He has been serving as an imam in Oldham and Liverpool since 2012, where he's made a huge difference to the community and is considered one of the most influential mentors of the youth of Oldham and Liverpool and regularly hosts programmes dealing with issues youth face today. Alongside his work with the local community, Atiq works in a primary school in a deprived area as a learning mentor.

Hussain Anwar is studied at Al Jamiah Al Islamiyah, an Islamic institute in Bolton for 7 years to qualify as an Imam and a teacher of Quranic sciences. Imam Hussain specialises in teaching his students the art of recitation of the Holy Quran.
He has previously served as an imam in the biggest mosque in Bolton and now serves as a freelance imam in Liverpool. As well as leading the prayers, Imam Hussain teaches many students on a private 1-1 tuition basis with the intention to bring these students to the future Al Qamar community centre.
Whilst fulfilling these commitments, he is also a student doctor at the University of Liverpool and the president of the Islamic Society. Imam Hussain has a vision for Al Qamar to become a social and religious hub for his colleagues at university to help them integrate with the local community in Liverpool. He has expressed his interest in partnering with Al Qamar to make this vision a reality in the upcoming years.

Having always had a passion for education, Fida has held the position of being the head of faculty for business, computing and ICT in secondary schools for the last 10 years. Vida is regarded as a highly educated and qualified professional who has a proven track record for demonstrating outstanding leadership in raising standards and attainment in his subject areas.
Alongside his role as a head of faculty, Vida is also part of the governing body of a local primary school with specific responsibility for curriculum provision.

Ijaz Akram
Okay has extensive design and project management experience across several sector which notably include waste,renewable energy, property, civil contracting and central/local goverment. he has been responsible for producing complex highway and drainage designs and implant a variety of geo environmental ground improvement strategies.
Ijaz has also worked in the property industry and has experience in undertaking dilapidation surveys, homebuyer reports, residential and letting valuations.
. Experienced infrastructure designer specialising in highway and pavement design, strategic drainage and hydraulic modelling, sustainable drainage solutions,ground remediation implementation.
.extensive experience in the role of contract administrator/project manager/ site supervisor across a number of sectors. Experienced in undertaking value engineering and risk management project reviews

Faizur has over 10 years’ experience working for the NHS in various roles . He has gained skills and expertise in a broad range of laboratory disciplines with specialization in Blood Sciences and Cytopathology. This experience has greatly enhanced his team working, communication, organizational and leadership skills. The National Health Service (NHS) awarded Faizur with a postgraduate diploma in Healthcare Leadership.
Faizur always had a strong passion and interest for I.T and technology which led him to completing the PRINCE2®️ Project Management and ITIL Foundation qualifications. Although Faizur completed his MSc in Cellular Sciences with a Distinction and qualified as a Clinical Scientist in Cytopathology, his drive and enthusiasm for Pathology IT led him to gain a highly respectable role as a Pathology IT Systems Administrator for South West London Pathology (St George’s Hospital, London).
Faizur’s current role has broadened his experience and skills across Pathology and has led him to further develop his expertise in the IT aspect of Pathology. Working on new projects is also enabling him to put his PRINCE2 Management Qualification into practice. His role is vital for the smooth and efficient running of Pathology IT systems across 4 hospitals in South West London.
Outside of work, Faizur enjoys playing football and keeping active. He also has a keen interest in Big Data and data intelligence tools with a particular focus on Tableau.
